At ESOL Entry 2, you will build on your basic skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. You’ll start using more words and sentences to talk about familiar topics, like your family, work and daily activities. In speaking and listening, you’ll be able to ask for and give directions, share simple opinions and understand everyday conversations. In reading, you’ll recognise more words and short texts, while in writing, you’ll be able to write simple messages, forms and short descriptions. This level will help you feel confident in more everyday situations and get ready for the next stage of learning.
