At ESOL Entry 1, you will learn basic skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. You’ll start to use simple words and sentences in everyday situations. In speaking and listening, you’ll be able to have short conversations, ask for what you need and understand simple instructions. In reading, you’ll recognise common words and signs, while in writing, you’ll be able to fill in forms, write short notes and share personal information. This level will help you feel more confident in everyday situations and get ready to learn more in the future.
